Bambaw - Washable panty liners - Moderate Flow
Menstrual products such as pads or tampons are indispensable. Unfortunately, these are usually disposable products that are not only packaged in plastic, but are themselves partially made of plastic. This means that they cannot be recycled and are not biodegradable. It takes 500 to 700 years for them to break down into microplastics. According to the European Commission, menstrual products are among the top 5 most commonly found waste products on European beaches.
The price of disposable sanitary napkins
In addition to the environmental impact, disposable hygiene products end up costing a lot of money. In 5 years, you can spend between € 130 and € 400 on menstrual products. On average, women spend around €14,000 on disposable hygiene products over the course of their lifetime.
All washable panty liners have a discreet black color and are made of three materials:
Bamboo charcoal for a dry and soft feeling and the prevention of unpleasant odors
Microfibers for maximum absorbency and quick drying
Water resistant PUL for the best protection and elasticity
Dimensions: 24 cm L, 8.4 cm W (18.8 cm W including wings).
All washable panty liners feature clips on the side to ensure they always stay securely in place.
We recommend washing the pads before using them for the first time.
How to wash the Bambaw pads?
Wash the pads with cold water after use. You can soak the pads in cold water for 30 minutes or rinse them under cold running water. Avoid using hot water as it may cause the stains to stick to the pad.
You can wash the pads by hand or in the washing machine at 40°C. Don't worry about stains, the machine will wash the pads just like any other piece of clothing.
We recommend air drying as the pads are made from fast-drying material. They will be dry and reusable in a few hours. There is a small chance that pads may shrink in the dryer.
