About us
Born in the Netherlands where the love of cycling is nurtured from an early age, founder and owner Oscar V. Mulder was determined as a young parent to cultivate the love of adventurous learning in his son Sebastiaan. What started 10 years ago as a one-off project to build Sebastiaan his own balance bike has grown into a thriving children's business that inspires little ones all over the world. Today, Oscar uses his 20 years of international brand design experience to lead Kinderfeets - a sustainable company that actively produces toys and learning tools that support children in their pursuit of independence, self-confidence and growth.
Inspired by traditional Dutch bicycles, Kinderfeets is a pun on the Dutch word 'kinderfiets', which translates to 'children's bicycle'. From the outside, Kinderfeets bikes, trikes and other products may look simple in design, but the purposeful features of each ensure child safety and low environmental impact.
Our assortment
Our balance bikes and trikes are made from non-wooden bamboo and/or birch wood and feature a low step through frame, adjustable seats, footrests, biodegradable tires and cushioned handlebars for comfort and stability.
