The Cheeky Panda was founded in 2016 two environmentally conscious entrepreneurs, Chris Forbes and Julie Chen after a vacation in Southeast Asia. They discovered that there was a huge surplus of naturally sustainable bamboo that was not being fully utilized and decided the time was right to introduce bamboo as a skin-friendly and abundant alternative raw material to wood.
Offsetting CO2 Emissions
Cheeky Panda offsets the production of its paper by donating a portion of its profits to The World Land Trust, a foundation dedicated to protecting fauna and flora in endangered rainforests.
