Bambaw - Bamboo Washable Panty Liners - Set of 5 - Moderate Flow

Menstrual products such as sanitary towels or tampons are essential. Unfortunately, these are usually disposable products that are not only packaged in plastic, but also partly made of plastic themselves. It takes 500 to 700 years for them to break down into microplastics.

According to the European Commission, menstrual products are among the top 5 most commonly found waste products on European beaches.

The price of disposable sanitary towels

In addition to the consequences for the environment, disposable hygiene products also ultimately cost a lot of money. In 5 years you can spend between €130 and €400 on menstrual products. On average, women spend around €14,000 on disposable hygiene products over the course of their lives.

All washable panty liners have a discreet black color and are made of three materials:

• Bamboo charcoal for a dry and soft feeling and the prevention of unpleasant odors
• Microfibres for maximum absorption and quick drying
• Water resistant PUL for the best protection and elasticity

All washable panty liners have clips on the side, so that they always stay in place.

We recommend washing the sanitary napkin before using it for the first time.

How to wash the Bambaw sanitary napkins?

• Rinse
• Wash the sanitary napkin with cold water after use. You can soak the sanitary towel in cold water for 30 minutes or rinse it under cold running water. Avoid using hot water as this can cause the stains to stick to the sanitary napkin.
• Wash
• You can wash the sanitary towels by hand or in the washing machine at 40°C. Don't worry about stains, the machine will wash the sanitary towels just like any other piece of clothing.
• Drying
• We recommend air drying as the sanitary napkins are made of quick drying material. They will be dry and reusable in a few hours. There is a small chance that the sanitary towels will shrink in the dryer.
